Recreational vehicle rental is the best way to try before you buy. If you’re not completely sure about the model, the brand or even the type of vehicle, why not rent it to try it out? You’ll be able to forge your own opinion and then make an enlightened decision.

Renting a vehicle is best especially if you don’t want to buy one outright that will lay around and take space. If you don’t need it all season, just rent it. This way you can also switch sports on the fly and enjoy a variety of experiences for a fraction of the price.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • GENERAL CONDITIONS Be at least 25 years old.

    Have a valid driver's license in Quebec. A copy will be necessary.

    Have previously installed a trailer hitch with brake control and a 7-pin connector.

    Provide proof of insurance with the FAQ-27 endorsement applicable to the recreational vehicle. To do this, inform your insurer in advance that you are renting a trailer.

    The phrase "applicable to the recreational vehicle" will be added to the endorsement.

    Provide a Chapter A liability insurance certificate previously issued by the insurer.

    A $1000 deposit is required by credit card.

    The unit must be returned in the same condition as when taken possession of. Any damage or missing equipment will be charged to the customer based on the cost of repairs or replacement.

    IMPORTANT: Basic cleaning fees are included in the rental. However, the renter is responsible for returning the trailer in a clean condition deemed sanitary by our team. The renter is also required to have previously emptied the waste tanks. If necessary, cleaning fees ranging from $250 to $500 will be charged and deducted from the renter's deposit.

    Animals are not allowed.

    Smoking inside the trailer is prohibited.

    Rental rates, regulations, and conditions are subject to change without notice. The renter acknowledges having read the conditions and regulations of this contract and agrees to comply with them without exception.

    Roulottes Rémillard reserves the right to substitute the rental with any similar vehicle.
  • SECURITY DEPOSIT Upon taking possession of the trailer, the renter will be required to provide the owner with a $1000 CAD deposit by credit card. This amount serves as a security deposit applicable to any damages that may occur to the rented items. The refund of the security deposit will be made within 24 to 48 business hours following the return of the equipment, after our team has inspected and confirmed the good condition of the equipment and the rented property.
    A cleaning fee of $250 may be deducted from the security deposit if the trailer is not returned in the same condition as when taken possession of.
  • DEPARTURE/RETURN Departure with your vehicle will be on Friday at 12:30 PM. Allow approximately 2 hours for explanations of the unit's operation and accessory checks. The return will be on the agreed date, which is Friday at 10:00 AM.
  • INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL Insurance and registration fees.

    Filled propane tanks.

    Equipment: weight distribution bars and hitch ball, refrigerator, heating, air conditioning, water heater, microwave, cooktop, outdoor kitchenette (available with certain models), fresh water hose, sewer hose, 30 AMP adapter, wheel chocks, leveling blocks, security lock, broom and dustpan, entry mat, lug wrench, and lighter.
  • NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL Kitchen accessories, dishes, utensils, pots, toaster, and trash can.

    Bedding (dish towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels).

    Soap, paper towels, and cleaning products.
  • CANCELLATION Your reservation can be canceled free of charge 30 days before the scheduled rental date.

  • If you wish, it is possible to return your rental before the scheduled date. However, no refund or credit will be issued.

  • Comprehensive insurance coverage is included in the rental rates. At the time of departure, the renter will be required to leave a security deposit of $1000 - payable by credit card - which will be refunded if the vehicle is returned in its original condition.

  • Departure with your vehicle will be on Friday at 12:30 PM. Please allow approximately 2 hours for explanations of the unit's operation and accessory checks. The return of your rental will be on the agreed date, which is Friday at 10:00 AM.

  • The renter is fully responsible for the costs associated with the breakdown or towing of the rented vehicle.

  • You must stay within Canadian territory.
    Additionally, you must remain on public roads; off-road (gravel) travel is not permitted as it is not covered by insurance, and you will be fully responsible in case of accidents or damages.

  • Cancellation made 30 days prior to the scheduled rental date will be free of charge. However, full payment will not be refunded if the cancellation is made beyond this timeframe.

  • In the event that the vehicle becomes unusable for a period exceeding 48 consecutive hours, Roulottes Rémillard may, at its discretion, offer the renter a rental credit.
    However, malfunctions of the radio, television, extension (slide out), air conditioning, refrigerator, and/or microwave are not eligible for financial compensation or rental credit.

    Any repairs and related costs will be the responsibility of the renter.
